Adani Airport City Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Airport Holdings, has announced plans to invest more than ₹20,000 crore in the first phase of an ambitious airport city development programme across six airports in India.
The developments will span more than 655 acres across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur and Guwahati, with approximately 22 million square feet of mixed-use infrastructure planned in the initial phase.

The airport cities will include hotels, office spaces, retail centres, entertainment hubs, convention facilities and other commercial infrastructure, creating integrated urban districts around the airports. The goal is to diversify airport revenues while boosting economic activity and improving passenger experience.
Nearly 70% of the investment will be directed towards Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, reflecting the strategic importance of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region in Adani’s long-term airport development plans.
The project is expected to generate significant employment opportunities, attract private investment and strengthen India’s aviation infrastructure by transforming airports into vibrant business, hospitality and lifestyle destinations
