Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has launched Vande Bharatam, a nationwide initiative designed to identify, support and showcase innovators, entrepreneurs and problem-solvers from across India. The programme will cover all 36 States and Union Territories, more than 800 districts and multiple Indian languages, making it one of the country’s largest entrepreneurship discovery platforms.

Open to people of all ages and backgrounds, Vande Bharatam welcomes applications from individuals with ideas, prototypes, early-stage ventures or established businesses. Participants do not need to have a registered startup to apply. The initiative seeks to uncover talent beyond traditional startup hubs and provide opportunities to innovators from rural, tribal and underserved communities.
Applications are being invited from diverse sectors including technology, manufacturing, sustainability, agriculture, traditional crafts and community-led innovation. Dedicated pathways have also been created to encourage participation from women entrepreneurs, tribal entrepreneurs, Divyang entrepreneurs and grassroots changemakers.
Following a multi-stage evaluation process, 75 finalists will be selected and invited to Ahmedabad for an immersive programme featuring mentorship, investor interactions and engagement with business leaders. The initiative will culminate in a national Grand Finale around Independence Day.
According to Adani, the initiative is aimed at expanding entrepreneurial opportunities across the country and supporting India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation by 2047. Applications for Vande Bharatam opened on June 24 through the programme’s official platform.
