Royal Enfield is preparing one of its most ambitious product expansions in recent years, with a strong pipeline of new motorcycles and upgrades planned for FY2027.

The company is expected to introduce five new models during the financial year, including the Bullet 650, Himalayan 440, Continental GT750, Himalayan 750, and Scram 450. Alongside these launches, 13 existing motorcycles will also receive updates as part of a wider refresh strategy.
Strategy to Strengthen Mid-Size Segment Position
The upcoming upgrades are aimed at reinforcing Royal Enfield’s position in the highly competitive midsize motorcycle segment. The brand is facing increasing pressure from rivals such as Triumph, Honda, Hero MotoCorp, TVS, and Harley-Davidson, all of whom are expanding their presence in the same category.
By expanding its portfolio and updating existing models, Royal Enfield is looking to maintain its dominance while appealing to a broader range of riders.
Growth and Production Targets
The company is targeting double-digit growth in FY2027, with planned production of around 13.2 lakh units. This reflects its expectation of strong demand both in domestic and international markets.
New Manufacturing Capacity
To support its expansion plans, Royal Enfield is also working on setting up a new manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. This plant is expected to significantly increase production capacity by up to 9 lakh units annually, giving the company more room to scale its operations in the coming years.
With multiple new launches, a refreshed existing lineup, and expanded manufacturing capacity, Royal Enfield is positioning itself for aggressive growth in the midsize motorcycle market while strengthening its competitive edge in the global two-wheeler industry.
