His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced that the UAE has entered the top 10 global exporters of goods for the first time, according to the latest World Trade Organization (WTO) report.

In a post on X, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the UAE moved from 17th to 9th place worldwide in just five years, reflecting rapid economic growth and stronger global trade competitiveness.
The UAE’s total foreign trade reached AED 6 trillion ($1.6 trillion) last year, a 15% increase from the previous year, with a trade surplus of AED 584 billion across goods and services, he added.
“Betting on the UAE is a bet on growth, prosperity, and a better future,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
