GreenCell Mobility’s NueGo has launched India’s first electric AC sleeper bus service, marking a significant move toward eco-friendly intercity travel. The service will initially operate on key routes, including Delhi–Amritsar, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad–Rajahmundry, and more, with plans for further expansion.
Comfort-Driven and Ergonomic Design
The new sleeper buses are designed for passenger comfort, featuring ergonomic berths with backrests, soft-touch interiors, ambient LED lighting, USB charging ports, night reading lamps, and modern sanitation facilities. The aerodynamic design, monocoque chassis, and optimized tubular structure ensure improved stability and efficiency.
Advanced Safety and Performance Features
Equipped with ABS brakes, electronic stability control (ESC), and full air suspension, the buses offer enhanced safety and a smoother ride. With zero tailpipe emissions and regenerative braking, each bus has a range of 350 km per charge, extendable to 600 km daily via fast charging.
Enhanced Passenger Security and Women’s Safety
NueGo prioritizes passenger security with 24×7 helplines, CCTV surveillance, GPS tracking, driver breath analyzer tests, and a speed lock at 80 km/h. Special measures, including a Pink Seat feature for women and clean mid-point stops, further enhance safety and convenience.
