Manju Ajitha Kumar, a 53-year-old Indian expat in Qatar, won Dh1 million in Big Ticket’s last weekly e-draw for January. Originally from Kerala, he has lived in Qatar for 20 years, working as a senior accountant.
Decade-Long Journey with Big Ticket
Kumar started trying his luck with Big Ticket 10 years ago. For the past five years, he has pooled money with colleagues to buy tickets, but this time, he purchased the winning ticket on his own.
Plans for the Prize
Kumar initially thought the win was a scam but confirmed it through the official website. He now plans to invest in his children’s education and support his parents. Despite his big win, he intends to continue playing.
Big Ticket’s February Prizes
Big Ticket is offering a Dh20 million grand prize, weekly e-draws, luxury cars, and cash rewards. Buyers who purchase two or more tickets in a single transaction between February 1 and 23 can qualify for a live draw on March 3. Tickets are available online and at Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport.
