Tata Group’s Stryder Cycle has introduced two new e-bikes: the Voltic X, priced 16 percent lower than its original value, and the Voltic GO, which brings in a corresponding 12 percent price reduction. These two models are just fresh off the drawing board and represent a significant step forward in realizing the company’s vision for the company to contribute to sustainable mobility solutions for India, as the country readies itself to face air pollution and chaotic urban roads.

Price and Features of the New E-Bikes

The introductory prices for the Voltic X as well as the Voltic GO stand at Rs 32,495 and Rs 31,495, respectively. Both the models carry a 48V splash-proof battery that full charges within just a few hours, at 40 km range per charge.

It has a sleek, comfortable frame; the Voltic X features an aggressive mountain bike design and is perfect for bashing through cities as well as off-road adventures. It features dual disc brakes and an automatic power cut-off for added safety, along with two-year battery warranty.

Tata Stryder Insights

Stryder’s Business Head, Rahul Gupta said, “We strongly feel e-bicycles play a crucial role in India’s energy transition. Partnering with the forward-thinking initiatives of the government, we are helping to set up a more eco-friendly transportation ecosystem in the country.” According to him, “e-bikes are easy and therefore convenient. So by convenience, they are a perfect, efficient and green alternative to urban commuting.” Increasing Market Footprint

Stryder has grown into more than 4,000 retail outlets across India, being a company from way back. Its export business now extends to SAARC, Africa, and the Middle East. With the Indian market for electric vehicles still growing, the new e-bikes from Stryder provide such a consumer with a more sustainable transportation alternative and greener mobility solutions.
