Jayshree V. Ullal, 63, based in London, exemplifies the rise of women in global corporate leadership. She currently serves as the chair and CEO of Arista Networks and was recognized by Forbes as one of America’s wealthiest self-made women in 2023.

Ullal holds approximately 2.4% of Arista’s stock, valued at over Rs 2,80,00 crore ($3.4 billion), surpassing the combined net worth of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

Born on March 27, 1961, in London, Ullal was raised in New Delhi, India. She pursued her education at Convent of Jesus and Mary, Delhi, and holds engineering degrees from Santa Clara University and San Francisco State University.

Ullal joined Arista Networks during its inception and played a pivotal role in its IPO in 2014. Prior to Arista, she managed a $10 billion enterprise at Cisco and contributed significantly to high-speed chip design for Hitachi and IBM.

As CEO since 2008, Ullal has steered Arista Networks to substantial growth, cementing her reputation as a visionary leader in the tech industry.

With a wealth of experience spanning over three decades and a net worth of $3.4 billion, Jayshree V. Ullal continues to inspire as a prominent figure in global business and technology leadership. Her achievements underscore the increasing influence of women in shaping the future of corporate governance and innovation.
