Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services provider, has unveiled the “Rebegin” program aimed at empowering experienced women professionals who are looking to relaunch their careers after a break. The initiative underscores TCS’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity in the workforce while tapping into the talent pool of skilled women who have taken career breaks due to various personal reasons.
Commenting on the program, TCS stated, “Rebegin is an opportunity for experienced women professionals to reclaim a promising career after a break because nothing should stand in the way of deserving talent. We want you to put your best foot forward, and we cannot wait to walk the road to a greater future together with you.”
The Rebegin program is open for women professionals across India, offering them a chance to restart their careers after taking breaks due to family responsibilities, health issues, educational pursuits, or other personal reasons. Candidates with a minimum of two years of relevant experience are eligible to apply under this initiative.
The primary objective of the Rebegin program is to provide a platform for women professionals to re-enter the workforce and nurture their careers with TCS. Interested candidates can explore job opportunities through the TCS Careers Portal and navigate to the dedicated Rebegin section. Each job posting on the portal includes a detailed job description and required skill sets.
Candidates can apply for positions directly through the TCS iBegin Portal by creating a profile if not already done and submitting their applications. In addition to launching the Rebegin program, TCS recently announced its financial results for the January-March quarter, revealing a slight decrease in headcount by 1,759 employees. Despite this, TCS boasts a diverse workforce, with 35.6% women representing 152 nations. As of March 31, TCS employees have collectively logged 51 million learning hours and acquired 5 million competencies, reflecting the company’s commitment to continuous learning and development.
