Serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of Tractor and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), Mallika Srinivasan has steered her company to remarkable success, reaching the milestone of a Rs 10,000 crore turnover. Born in 1959, Mallika Srinivasan pursued her higher education at Madras University before earning an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA. In 1986, she made the decision to join the family business established by businessman S. Anantharamakrishnan, a key figure in transforming Chennai into the ‘Detroit of India.’
At 64 years old, Mallika Srinivasan has spearheaded a significant technological transformation at TAFE, propelling the company to become the world’s third-largest tractor manufacturer. Her dedication and vision have propelled TAFE to extraordinary heights, solidifying its position in the global market.
