Two Tamil Nadu-based companies, UNO Aqua Care and SalemSurvey Group, have taken the unprecedented step of declaring August 10 as an official holiday. UNO Aqua Care has extended this holiday to its branches in various cities. The motivation behind this decision is not only to accommodate the fans but also to discourage piracy, a prevalent concern for movie releases. According to UNO Aqua Care, Rajinikanth is considered the “only superstar” across generations, making this gesture a tribute to his iconic status.
Similarly, SalemSurvey Group announced that the holiday would be applicable to its employees across multiple locations. In addition to the holiday, both companies have also gone a step further by offering free movie tickets to their employees, further fueling the anticipation for the film.

Two Sri Lankan nationals traveled to Chennai to catch the “First Day, First Show” of ‘Jailer’ and witness Rajinikanth’s performance as ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian.
