IRCTC introduces Swadesh Darshan train from Kerala to famous pilgrimage centres

Swadesh Darshan special tourist trains run by Indian Railway Catering And Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) will operate services to pilgrimage centres from Kerala. 

During the ‘Mandalam’ season, these trains will conduct services to Kashi, Ayodya, Allahabad, and other pilgrim spots.

On December 10, the train will begin its journey from Kochuveli railway station and return on December 20. 

Tourists can visit various religious centres and monuments in Odisha, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.

Travellers can visit Konark Sun Temple, Puri Jagannath Temple, Vishnupada Temple in Gaya, Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, temples in Ayodhya, and Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj (Allahabad).

The package includes Sleeper Class or Third AC tickets, vehicles for visiting various places, accommodation for overnight stays as per the traveller’s budget, three meals per day, service of security escort and travel insurance.

The Tour package price starts from Rs.20,500.
