Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, the adored Crown Prince of Dubai, turned 40 today.
The crown prince, who is more often known by his Arabic name Fazza, which means “the one who helps,” has also adopted the personas of a devoted father, an equestrian, a poet, and a photographer with a strong affinity for wildlife and the outdoors.
He is well renowned for his sense of adventure and is frequently spotted participating in heart-pounding activities like skydiving, free diving, and even scaling the Burj Khalifa.
The prince attended Rashid Private School in Dubai for his primary education. Then he continued his study in the UK, graduating from one of the best military colleges in the world, the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS).
Sheikh Hamdan has enrolled in many advanced economics training courses at the London School of Economics and Dubai School of Government in addition to his military education.
Sheikh Hamdan and his wife, Sheikha Sheikha bint Saeed, welcomed twins Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan and Sheikha Sheikha bint Hamdan in May 2021.
Over the past 18 months, he has given his 14.9 million Instagram followers several glimpses into his life as a father, including introducing his kids to his beloved horses at F3 Stables while visiting the UK in the summer and taking them cycling with his father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.
“I studied at Mohammed bin Rashid School and graduated from there, and I continue to learn from him every day,” he claims. I’m eager to speak with him and receive his guidance on a variety of strategic issues. He serves as an example for all young people in the UAE, not just for me.”
