Elon Musk may invest up to $15 billion of his cash to buy Twitter
He also asked Morgan Stanley to help him raise another $10 billion in debt
Musk is planning to launch a tender offer in 10 days
He may even borrow against his current Twitter stake if needed
Musk is Twitter’s second-biggest shareholder with a 9.1% stake
Earlier this month, he had offered to buy Twitter for $43 billion
However, the social media platform adopted a “poison pill” defense
Meanwhile, some private equity firms have shown interest in the bid
This happened after tech-focused PE firm Thoma Bravo approached Twitter
