India has a shortage of more than 50,000 primary clinics and 600,000 doctors. ShopDoc helps medical practitioners open a smart clinic almost instantly, allows them to practice at multiple smart clinics and lets them manage everything from one place. The patients are given various healthcare services at affordable rates and more conveniently.
This Software as a Service business model has hospitals, clinics, diagnostic labs, and doctors on board. They have got more than 3000 doctors, 200 plus hospitals and clinics, and 25 diagnostic lab chains. ShopDoc serves B2B as well as B2C businesses.
In Kerala, they are planning to launch 1000 smart clinics across 941 Panchayats and 87 municipal towns. These clinics would be franchises completely operated by women micro-enterprises. ShopDoc would train the women who will be called ‘ShopDoc Angels’. ShopDoc is raising funds for its Middle East expansion. It is raising about $1.35 million to launch the 1000 smart clinics across Kerala.
