App Ban

Google recently banned 10 apps from the Play Store for collecting user data such as phone numbers and other important information. Interestingly, those Banned apps have been downloaded more than 60 million times.

Dangerous Apps

According to major global publications, these apps are known to collect accurate location, emails and phone numbers, nearby devices, and passwords. Normally, Google will not allow these kinds of apps to be in the Google Play Store until it has passed many security checks. However, despite the rigorous steps, many dangerous apps find a space in the Play Store.  If these blocked apps are present on your smartphone, they should be uninstalled immediately for various security reasons such as the ones mentioned above.  In addition to uninstalling, you must erase all the app related data.

Dangerous Apps

These are the 10 apps Google banned.
