Flying car
A car-aircraft hybrid, which can transform from a sports car into an aircraft in less than three minutes, is certified to fly in Slovakia.The AirCar, developed by Klein Vision, received a certificate of airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Authority in January.
The certification came after 75 hours of test flights, with more than 220 takeoffs and landings executed.
BMW engine
A team of up to eight people has been working on the prototype since 2017.The AirCar completed its first inter-city flight in June last year. It is not restricted to airfields. It can take off from and land anywhere.The AirCar is powered by a 1.6 litre BMW engine and runs on fuel sold at any gas station.
