Audi plans local production of e-vehicles

Local production slowly

Audi is evaluating the feasibility of producing electric vehicles in India. The company has decided to go all-electric globally from 2033. “It is a matter of time for local production of its electric cars,” a senior official said. 

New e-cars

“Now, we are evaluating the acceptability of electric mobility in India,” he said. In the last seven months, Audi India has launched five electric cars. They are: e-tron 50, e-tron 55, e-tron Sportback 55, e-tron GT, RS e-tron GT. Audi will continue to sell these in the coming 12 months.
