ePlane Company is a venture incubated out of IIT-Madras. It is developing India’s first electric air taxi.

Compact planes

The ‘e200’ will be one of the world’s most compact two-seater planes. It also works on cargo transport aircraft small enough for last-mile delivery

The company is co-founded by IIT-M professor Satya Chakravarthy and his student Pranjal Mehta.They are currently testing a scaled-down prototype. They expect to have their first cargo plane ready by next year. They have raised $1 million in their series A round of funding.
