Volvo Car India launches its first electric SUV in India. Volvo XC40 Recharge electric SUV has priced at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is assembled at Volvo’s Hosakote plant near Bengaluru. It is the first luxury EV to be assembled in India. XC40 will be available with a twin motor powertrain. It will have a 78kWH battery pack that supports 150kW fast charging. 10 to 80 per cent can be charged in just 33 minutes.
