Kerala-based robotics firm Genrobotics has been selected for the Adani Group fellowship. The fellowship would help Genrobotics expand its service to more sectors.Genrobotics is known for developing the world’s first robotic scavenger ‘Bandicoot’.Bandicoot aims to put an end to manual scavenging and thus ensure the safety of sanitation workers .Adani Group would be a part of this mission by Genrobotics .The group would deploy products like Bandicoot in ports, airports, and other townships under the Adani Group.Bandicoot is currently operational in 17 states and three Union Territories. Vimal Govind M.K., Arun George, Rashid K., and Nikhil N.P. co-founded Genrobotics.It is headquartered at Technopark in Thiruvananthapuram.

By the end of January, all driving tests at the Lado Sarai circuit would be conducted without the need for any human intervention, according to officials. In Delhi, 12 of the 13 driving test tracks are already automatic. Currently only manual testing is done at Lado Sarai. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has advised all leading banks to issue the new locker agreement to its holders before January 1, 2023, as new locker rules will be implemented from that date. The locker owners must show their eligibility for a new locker arrangement. The lenders can use the IBA-drafted model locker agreement for this purpose. The latest guidelines also contain measures to ensure the safety of lockers. It asks banks to install CCTV cameras to monitor the locker rooms. According to the National Food Security Act, the Center said that it would give 81.35 crore people free food grains for a year (NFSA). The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, decided to make a significant pro-poor decision by granting foodgrains to the needy for free for one year through December 2023 as part of the NFSA. The move would benefit 81.35 crore people in total and cost the exchequer about Rs 2 lakh crore, Food Minister Piyush Goyal told reporters after the Cabinet meeting.
