Tata Motors launched India’s first CNG truck in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle (M&HCV) segment. The models are powered by the 5.7-litre SGI engine. It generates a peak power of 180hp and torque of 650Nm. It offers a range of up to 1,000 km. The trucks address the need for safe transportation. Most truck makers now offer CNG only in the small and light commercial vehicle segments.

Larsen & Toubro Group’s Mindtree plans to set up a development center in Kolkata that could create 15,000 to 20,000 jobs over the next four to five years. Global services company EY announced that it has decided to pursue a partnership to split into two separate multidisciplinary organizations. EY said in a statement that the decision was taken after a strategic review. This is expected to split its advisory and auditing activities into two separate bodies in certain jurisdictions. Twitter has announced plans to expand its community fact-checking program Birdwatch with a new form of content moderation. Twitter is reportedly expanding the program to half of all US users. The company launched the Birdwatch project last year to give more context to misleading tweets by gathering more relevant information from viewers. Previously, only a few people could view Birdwatch notes, but all of them were published on the website at Birdwatch. Tata Group is in talks with a Taiwanese supplier to Apple Inc. to set up an electronics manufacturing joint venture in India with the aim of assembling iPhones in the South Asian country.
