Open Network Digital Commerce (ONDC) expands its pilot to 15 more locations. In Kerala, it will be available in Kannur, Thrissur, and Mannar. Other places are Noida, Faridabad, Lucknow, Bijnor, and Chennai among others. The network began its pilot on April 29 Started in Delhi, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Bhopal, and Shillong. So far, ONDC has onboarded 100 merchants. One of the recent entrants is Snapdeal. Snapdeal will debut next month.
Ola Electric announced the investment of $500 million. It will be for setting up its state-of-the-art Battery Innovation Centre (BIC) in Bengaluru. The BIC would be one of the world’s largest and most advanced cell R&D facilities. It will have more than 165 “unique and cutting-edge” lab equipment. That will cover all aspects of cell-related research and development. The centre would be capable of developing complete packages of battery pack design, fabrication and testing under one roof.
The Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR) in Varanasi has developed a technique through which potato and tomato can be grown on a single plant. They named it as ‘pomato’ .Pomato was developed last year and IIVR scientists have been trying to further improve the quality and quantity of the same. They have now succeeded in growing brinjal on the pomato plant and this is aptly called ‘Brimato’ .Chillies are also being grown on the Brimato plant.

A voice note shared as a status update may be called “voice status” .The feature will only be shared with the people you choose within your status privacy settings.
