The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet approved the bio-energy strategy in an effort to draw substantial investments and boost the state’s agricultural income.The goal of the policy is to encourage and assist the state’s production of compressed biogas, biocoal, ethanol, and biodiesel. Saudi Arabia has signed a deal worth $10.6 billion to develop the infrastructure of 11 cities around the Kingdom. The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing signed the deal with the National Housing Company on the sidelines of the Exhibition of Projects of Distinguished Cities under the patronage of King Salman. The agreement will cover infrastructure, service delivery, and facilities for a quality life. It includes more than 150,000 housing units for 11 cities in the Kingdom. The Ministry of Railways has made online registration mandatory for the transportation of goods with the national transporter as part of its efforts to digitise its records. According to the chief executive officer of the US startup Fisker Inc, sales of its Ocean electric sport-utility vehicle (SUV) will start in India in July and the country may start producing its own automobiles in a few years.
