Kerala-based startup Hash Future School has been awarded the Best Innovative School Award at the 20th World School Summit in Dubai, competing against schools from 23 countries. The online school, incubated under the Kerala Startup Mission, was recognized for its pioneering “AI-first approach to education,” according to the event’s jury.
The award was presented by acclaimed author Chetan Bhagat. Hash Future Co-founder and CEO Shihabudheen Pathanayath expressed immense pride in representing India on a global stage. He emphasised that this achievement underscores the school’s commitment to making education meaningful, accessible, and future-ready through innovative technologies and personalised learning experiences.
Hash Future School is a leader in personalised learning, leveraging advanced technological tools to provide engaging and forward-thinking education. Its mission is to nurture future leaders and innovators by integrating AI and technology into the curriculum, equipping students with the skills needed for a rapidly changing world.
The school follows an AI-first curriculum and collaborates with innovation-seeking learning communities worldwide. “We have active learning communities in the Middle East, including the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, as well as in Kochi and Bengaluru,” stated Pathanayath. Currently, they have on boarded 130 students in their active schooling model and over 100 students in after-school programs like Superkids and GenAI SuperHeroes.
In addition, Kerala’s 2006-established Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) serves as the nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities, further supporting startups like Hash Future School in their innovative pursuits.
