This collaboration seeks to enhance the country’s bus transport system by incorporating cutting-edge technology and innovation into high-capacity vehicles.

The MoU was signed by Mohan K, Head of Bus Vertical at Ashok Leyland; Max Zeumer, COO of FlixBus; and Surya Khurana, Managing Director of FlixBus India. This partnership will provide FlixBus’s operating partners with access to Ashok Leyland’s state-of-the-art chassis and after-sales support, facilitating smooth operations nationwide. This initiative is designed to offer efficient travel options while empowering local bus operators with advanced technological resources.

Rapid Growth and Future Expansion Plans
Since its launch, FlixBus India has successfully served over 300,000 passengers and experienced a sixfold revenue increase within its first six months. After a successful rollout in South India, connecting major cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, FlixBus plans to expand its fleet and network across other regions of India. This MoU aligns with FlixBus India’s ambitious plans for further expansion and improving efficiency in the transportation sector.
