Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the Startup Competition 2024, inviting its students and alumni to participate. The competition is open to those who have either established their own startup or business venture or are at an advanced stage of setting one up.

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) at IGNOU is committed to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among its students and alumni, aligning with the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The competition aims to promote, support, and nurture budding innovators and entrepreneurs. Shortlisted participants will receive support, training, and guidance to scale up their startup initiatives. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to interact with other innovators and entrepreneurs, providing a platform for networking and collaboration.
The top three startups will be awarded the Best Startup Award 2024, with cash prizes of Rs 10,000 for the first place, Rs 7,000 for the second place, and Rs 5,000 for the third place.
