India’s Innovators Forbes 30 Under 30 Rising Stars

Forbes recently unveiled the ninth edition of its prestigious 30 Under 30 Asia list, featuring 300 influential individuals under 30 shaping the future across ten key sectors. Among these, the industry, manufacturing, and energy sector showcase remarkable Indian entrepreneurs who are redefining the landscape of innovation and sustainability in the country.

Rahil Gupta, Hop Electric Mobility:

Rahil Gupta, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Hop Electric Mobility, established the electric motorbike startup in 2020 in India. The company offers three models with prices ranging from $800 to $1,600, with the Oxo bike boasting impressive speeds and range. Hop Electric has garnered $6 million in funding, including a substantial $2.6 million in 2022.

Akshit Bansal and Raghav Arora, Statiq:

Gurgaon-based Statiq, founded by Akshit Bansal and Raghav Arora, provides a nationwide network of EV charging stations accessible via a user-friendly app. With $27.5 million in funding and projected revenue of 830 million rupees by March 2024, Statiq aims to double its charger count to 16,000 by 2025.

Chirag Jain and Rama Krishna Mendu, EndureAir Systems:

EndureAir Systems, founded in 2018 by Chirag Jain and Rama Krishna Mendu, specializes in drones for mapping, monitoring, and logistics. The startup, based in Noida, has developed battery-powered mini-helicopters capable of significant payloads. With $4 million in investments from notable backers, including the Dani family office and Addverb Technologies cofounders, EndureAir continues to innovate in the aerial technology space.

Ankit Jaipuria, ZYODIndia:

Ankit Jaipuria’s ZYODIndia, established in 2023, caters to small and medium-sized fashion brands in India, offering comprehensive manufacturing, logistics, and AI-driven design services. With a seed funding round of $3.5 million led by Lightspeed Venture Partners in 2023, ZYODIndia is poised for significant growth in the fashion industry.

Pranav Manpuria, Flux Auto:

Flux Auto, co-founded by Pranav Manpuria in 2017, specializes in self-driving software for forklifts and warehouse robots, enabling seamless integration into existing infrastructure. With close to $6 million in funding from notable investors such as Asymmetry Ventures, Soma Capital, and Y Combinator, Flux Auto continues to innovate in the autonomous vehicle space.

Arun Sreyas and Gautham Maheswaran, Race Energy:

Hyderabad-based RACE Energy, founded by university friends Arun Sreyas and Gautham Maheswaran in 2018, focuses on developing swappable battery packs for auto-rickshaws in India. With $4 million in funding from GrowX Ventures, RACE Energy facilitates over 1,100 battery swaps daily, driving the adoption of electric vehicles in urban transportation.

Dinesh Venkatasami, Karthikeyan Adhikesavan, Keerthivasan Ravi, and Phunith Kumar V, Raptee Energy:

Raptee Energy, established in 2019 by Dinesh Venkatasami, Karthikeyan Adhikesavan, Keerthivasan Ravi, and Phunith Kumar V, specializes in electric motorbikes with impressive range and speed capabilities. With $5 million in funding, including substantial pre-A funding in 2023, Raptee Energy is at the forefront of sustainable mobility solutions in India.

The inclusion of these exceptional Indian entrepreneurs in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia list underscores their significant contributions to the industry, manufacturing, and energy sector. With innovative solutions and sustainable practices, these trailblazers are poised to shape the future of India’s entrepreneurial landscape and drive positive change on a global scale.
