Sheikh Hamdan authorizes 200 Dubai ventures and launches a beautification program for the city.

His Majesty Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan declared 2023 the Year of Sustainability. In light of this motivation, every growth activity and effort in Dubai is planned to keep up with the changing times, particularly those in the environmental area.

The latest summit, presided over by the Crown Prince, proposed a legal framework that re-establishes Dubai’s status as a forerunner in addressing climate threats.

The Crown Prince underlined his aim to establish a healthy balance between economic development and environmental conservation in an effort to save the world for future generations. This conference resulted in the endorsement of 200 initiatives prepared for various areas of Dubai.

These plans are aimed at providing the best and most advanced services to the residents of the country. The major goal of the conference was to put policies in place that will serve to improve people’s quality of life.

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasises the need of partnership between the government and the corporate sector in achieving this aim. The private sector’s input would be extremely beneficial in creating appealing investment prospects in Dubai.

The Crown Prince relied on anticipated prospects in the circular economy to implement the initial component of the project. The country’s administration believes that minimising waste will help to meet total demand for consumables. On a regular basis, facilities would be built to aid in the reuse and recycling of discarded material.

Industrialists and important players from several industries attended the gathering. Every industry’s environmental impact was thoroughly investigated. Priority was given to the operation of the construction food, packaging, and electronic waste management enterprises by the delegates. Reports were created to demonstrate the environmental damage caused by these companies’ discharge.

As a result, the strategy includes all of these industries. As a result, the trash generated by these sectors would be exposed to innovative waste management and waste treatment processes. This endeavour will go a long way towards reducing the environmental risk.

This is not the first time the country has emerged as an active actor in environmental protection. The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority contributed to a 55% rise in inhabitants’ reliance on renewable energy sources over conventional energy sources in 2012.
