As the semiconductor supply improved, the passenger vehicle (PV) segment showed strong sales in November. The domestic volumes rose 31.44 per cent YoY at 322,861 units.

Maruti was the top seller in November. Its seven models showed great demand. The largest selling car was Baleno. Its 20,945 units were sold in November. Tata and Hyundai also were in demand. The Nexon registered sales of 15,871 units and became the top-selling SUV. Alto (15,663 units), Swift (15,153 units), and WagonR (14,720 units) found a place in the top five.
The best-selling sedan Dzire sold 14,456 units while Maruti Suzuki Ertiga sold 13,818 units. Hyundai’s Creta and Tata’s Punch sold 13,321 and 12,131 respectively. On the tenth position came Maruti Suzuki Brezza compact SUV with 11,324 units
