Elon Musk’s Tesla installs about 4,000 EV supercharger stations across the globe. This is to provide Tesla buyers easy access to charging stations. Moreover, Tesla has grown 34 percent YoY. In the first quarter of 2022, the Tesla stations stood at 3,724. Tesla managed to achieve this feat despite the global chip shortage. The last few years have seen charging infrastructure companies complaining about chip shortage. Tesla also witnessed a jump in the number of supercharger connectors. During Q2 2022, it stood at 36,165, representing 34.44 per cent YoY growth.
