Adani’s Group plans to join the telecom spectrum race. First direct competition with Ambani. Other spectrum contenders are Jio, Airtel and Vodafone. Adani Group had obtained National Long Distance (NLD) and International Long Distance (ILD) licences. A total of 72,097.85 MHz of spectrum will be put for auction. It contains the 5G band needed for high-speed internet connectivity. The bidding will commence on July 26, 2022.
