Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal has explained Zomato’s latest 10-minute delivery service, after being criticized
Zomato was criticized as an open door to push delivery partners into a tough and unsafe working environment
Mr Goyal tweeted the 10-minute delivery service “will be for specific nearby locations, popular and standardized items only.”
He said 10-minute deliveries will lead to lesser time spent on the road per order
The delivery partners will be educated on road safety, and will be provided accidental and life insurance
Zomato will be delivering bread, omelet, poha, coffee, chai, biryani, momos, in its 10 minutes delivery plan
