Nykaa is planning to expand its brick-and-mortar stores to 300. It is a way to significantly build the startups offline presence in the country.

More outlets to open

Nykaa founder Falguni Nayar said the company targets 100 cities. Nykaa already has 84 retail outlets operating in 40 cities.

“The store expansion had slowed down due to the (COVID-19). But, this year we have revived our store rollout,” she said.

Nayar said the physical stores form a critical part of the business.
