Elon Musk had a discussion with airlines on installing Starlink.
He informed about the development on Twitter.
Starlink is a satellite-based broadband service owned by SpaceX.
It has plans to deploy 12,000 satellites.
It’s not clear which airlines were approached or when installation would happen.
SpaceX had said the Starlink constellation will cost roughly $10 billion.
Starlink is one of the companies making small satellites.
Similar firms include Amazon.com’s Kuiper, Britain’s OneWeb, Planet and Blue Canyon Technologies.
Musk currently helms many companies including electric-car maker Tesla Inc, rocket startup SpaceX and Neuralink.
