BEML Limited, a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has secured an order worth approximately ₹75.58 crore for the export and maintenance of high-mobility military vehicles in Southeast Asia.

The order covers the export and maintenance of HMV 12×12 and HMV 8×8 vehicles. The company disclosed the contract in a regulatory filing, stating that it was received in the normal course of business. BEML has not disclosed the customer’s identity or the delivery schedule.
The latest contract adds to BEML’s growing portfolio of domestic and international orders across defence, aerospace, mining, construction and rail transportation. The company manufactures specialised military vehicles designed to support operations across challenging terrains.
BEML’s recent order wins include a ₹184.25 crore contract from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited for Light Combat Helicopter fuselage structures and an order worth around ₹180.60 crore from Integral Coach Factory for Vande Bharat Sleeper trainsets.
The company also secured a contract valued at more than ₹5,400 crore from the National High Speed Rail Corporation for the supply and maintenance of high-speed trainsets and associated works for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor.
As of June 30, 2026, BEML’s order book stood at ₹16,285 crore. It subsequently received orders worth more than ₹5,764 crore during August and September, according to the company’s regulatory filings.
The Southeast Asian contract is expected to strengthen BEML’s overseas presence while creating opportunities for continued maintenance and after-sales support. The deal also highlights the role of Indian defence manufacturers in expanding exports of specialised military equipment to international markets.
