Indian Railways is preparing to launch a Vande Bharat Sleeper service between KSR Bengaluru and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai. The service is expected to begin around October 10 or 11, according to reports.

The train is likely to operate six days a week, with proposed halts at Anantapur, Guntakal, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Solapur, Pune and Kalyan. The Bengaluru-Mumbai journey is expected to take around 16 hours.
The service will use two Vande Bharat Sleeper rakes. The new train is expected to provide an overnight travel option between Bengaluru and Mumbai, improving connectivity between Karnataka, Maharashtra and key cities along the route.
