Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump held a telephone conversation on September 30 and reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation across trade, defence, energy, critical technologies and other areas of mutual interest. The discussion comes as India and the US continue engagement on strengthening their broader strategic partnership.

During the conversation, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. They agreed to maintain close engagement and continue working to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Modi and Trump also exchanged views on regional and international developments, including ongoing efforts to promote global peace and security. Both leaders agreed to remain in touch as discussions on bilateral and global issues continue.
