Jio Platforms has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to proceed with its proposed initial public offering.

The IPO is expected to raise more than ₹37,000 crore, potentially making it the largest public issue in India if launched at that scale.
The proposed listing marks a major step for Jio Platforms, which houses Reliance Industries’ digital and telecom businesses. The company has grown into one of India’s largest digital ecosystems, with operations spanning telecommunications, digital services and technology.
The IPO is expected to generate strong investor interest and could become one of the most closely watched market debuts in India.
For the broader capital market, the listing could also reinforce the growing role of large technology and digital companies in India’s equity markets.
