Donald Trump has announced a $300 billion oil refinery project in Brownsville, Texas, describing it as a historic deal aimed at boosting American energy production. The refinery will be developed by America First Refining, and Trump publicly thanked India and Reliance Industries for supporting the investment.

If completed, the facility would become the first new major oil refinery built in the United States in nearly 50 years. The project is planned at the Port of Brownsville in Texas and is expected to strengthen domestic fuel supply and support exports.
Trump described the initiative as part of the “America First” energy strategy, aimed at expanding oil production, boosting economic activity, and creating thousands of jobs in the region.
The involvement of Reliance Industries, led by Mukesh Ambani, highlights the growing role of Indian companies in global energy investments and infrastructure development.
The refinery is expected to process American shale oil and could significantly expand US refining capacity while strengthening economic ties between India and the United States.
