Mahindra Last Mile Mobility has officially launched the Mahindra UDO, a futuristic electric three-wheeler that blends style, performance and practicality for India’s booming last-mile segment. The vehicle draws inspiration from aircraft design, reflected in its aerodynamic silhouette and bold aesthetics, and is positioned as an “autoplane” that redefines the everyday auto-rickshaw experience. The name “UDO,” meaning “to fly” in Hindi, underscores the brand’s focus on elevated comfort and driving dynamics.
Priced at an introductory ₹3.59 lakhs (ex-showroom), down from the standard ₹3,84,299 for a limited period, the UDO boasts a real-world range of around 200 km and an ARAI-certified range of up to 265 km, thanks to its 11.7 kWh IP67-rated lithium-ion battery pack paired with a 10 kW motor. Drivers can choose between three driving modes — Range, Ride and Race, to balance efficiency and performance, with Race mode enabling speeds up to 55 km/h.

Comfort and safety have been prioritized with features such as a thicker pilot seat, generous legroom and headroom, independent rear suspension, dual-fork front suspension, and enhanced braking. Segment-first features like reverse throttle, regenerative braking and hill hold assist make city driving easier and more efficient. The UDO also comes with a 6-year/1.5 lakh km warranty, free service up to 1 lakh km, and enrollment in the UDAY NXT scheme, which includes ₹20 lakh accidental insurance for owners.
Mahindra is positioning the UDO as a benchmark for electric three-wheelers, aiming to boost driver earnings, comfort and sustainability in India’s largest EV three-wheeler market. Its launch reflects Mahindra’s broader push into electrification and next-generation vehicle platforms.
