SuperBryn, a platform that focuses on evaluations, monitoring, and self-improving systems for enterprise voice AI, has secured 1.2 million dollars in a pre-seed round backed by Kalaari Capital’s CXXO initiative. Several angel investors joined in as well, including Rikant Pitti from EaseMyTrip, Arjun Pillai of Docket AI, Sharath Keshava Narayanan of Sanas AI, Harish Manian from BMH, and actor Nivin Pauly.
The company plans to use the funds to speed up product development, grow its engineering team, and strengthen early partnerships in sectors where reliable voice automation is becoming essential.

SuperBryn was started by two technologists from Kerala who ran into the same issue across the industry. Voice agents tend to look good in controlled pilots but fall apart once deployed at scale, especially with regional accents, background noise, long conversations, and tricky edge cases that most existing systems never catch. Their goal is to build a reliability layer that makes enterprise voice AI stable enough for real-world use.
Nikkitha Shanker pointed out that companies often handle massive volumes of calls without knowing which ones went off-track or why, unless someone manually sifts through thousands of recordings. Their platform is designed to surface breakdowns, explain what caused them, and automatically improve the agent.
She added that strong monitoring and evaluation aren’t optional in fields like healthcare, finance, and insurance, where a single failed interaction can have serious consequences.
Co-founder Dr. Neethu Mariam Joy said her years in speech and voice AI research made the problem obvious. Most tools are tested under ideal conditions, not in the unpredictable environments where real users speak. SuperBryn aims to change that with smarter evaluation and feedback systems that keep voice agents improving continuously.
Kalaari’s Jayraj Bharat Patel said that voice AI is reaching a turning point. Companies are starting to deploy it at scale, but reliability remains the biggest obstacle. He added that SuperBryn fills a major gap with independent evaluation and continuous improvement, and praised the founders’ deep technical grounding and drive to set a global reliability standard.
