Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has made its presence felt at Expand North Star 2025, part of the global tech event GITEX Global that began in Dubai on October 12. The Kerala Pavilion, showcasing 35 startups from the state, was inaugurated by Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India in Dubai.

Electronics and IT Department Special Secretary Sriram Sambasiva Rao and KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika were also present at the inauguration.
Set up in Hall 10 (Stalls B94–B129), the Kerala Pavilion offers startups a global stage to showcase their products and technologies. It also serves as a key platform for guidance from ecosystem partners, investor connections, and global collaborations.
Hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, Expand North Star is one of the world’s largest gatherings of tech innovators, investors, and startups. Formerly known as GITEX Future Stars, the event features over 2,000 startups and 1,500 investors from more than 100 countries.
Speaking at the launch, KSUM CEO Anoop Ambika said GITEX provides a gateway for Kerala startups to connect with international investors and partners. He noted that KSUM’s Startup Infinity Centre in Dubai has already become a valuable hub for startups from Kerala looking to expand in the UAE.
The Kerala delegation includes startups working across sectors such as artificial intelligence, robotics, SaaS, healthtech, edtech, and sustainability. KSUM has been participating in this global event for the past nine years, continuing its mission to build global exposure for innovators from Kerala.
