Mahindra has officially unveiled the BE 6 Batman Edition, the world’s first Batman-inspired electric SUV, developed in collaboration with Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products. Priced at ₹27.79 lakh (ex-showroom), this special edition is strictly limited to 300 units. Bookings open on August 23, 2025, with deliveries beginning September 20, coinciding with International Batman Day.
Based on the 79kWh Pack Three variant of the Mahindra BE 6, this unique SUV takes visual and thematic inspiration from Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. Mahindra calls it a fusion of “cinematic heritage and modern luxury,” designed for fans of the iconic superhero.
Exterior Highlights includes custom Satin Black paint with Batman decals, R20 alloy wheels, Alchemy Gold suspension components & brake calipers, “BE 6 The Dark Knight” badge & multiple Bat emblems, infinity Roof and Night Trail carpet lamps projecting the Bat symbol.
Interior Features includes numbered Batman Edition plaque, charcoal leather dashboard with brushed gold halo, gold-accented suede seats embossed with the Bat emblem, race car–inspired open straps and custom Batman-themed infotainment & sound effects
Performance Specs includes a 79kWh battery, 281hp, 380Nm torque, which enables it to go 0–100kmph in 6.7 seconds, 682km ARAI-certified range, 175kW DC fast charging: 20% to 80% in 20 minutes, VisionX AR HUD, L2 and ADAS and ambient lighting with 16M colors. Drive modes include range, everyday, race and boost mode.
Positioned as more than just an EV, the BE 6 Batman Edition is a collectible piece of pop culture on wheels. Mahindra’s Chief Design Officer, Pratap Bose, said it was designed to feel “so personal, so visually arresting” that it becomes a piece of cinematic history for its owner.
