Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will perform the Bhoomi Pujan and lay the foundation stone for the BRAHMA (BEML Rail Hub for Manufacturing) project on August 10 at Obaidullaganj in Raisen district, about 25 km from Bhopal. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will attend in person, while Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will join virtually.
Major Investment and Job Creation
The BRAHMA facility will be built with an investment of around Rs 1,800 crore. Spread across 60.0630 hectares in Umaria village, it will manufacture railway and metro coaches for Vande Bharat, Amrit Bharat, and metro trains. The factory is expected to create direct and indirect employment for over 1,500 people and boost ancillary industries in Bhopal and Raisen districts.

Boost to Self-Reliance
Calling it a step toward realising the Prime Minister’s vision of promoting swadeshi, the CM said the project aligns with the goal of making India economically strong and self-reliant. The manufactured coaches will be supplied across India and exported to other countries.
PM MITRA Textile Park in Dhar
Yadav also informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform Bhoomi Pujan for the PM MITRA Textile Park in Dhar on August 25. With an investment of Rs 2,000 crore in the ready-made garments sector, the project will create over one lakh jobs, with special focus on employment for youth from tribal regions.
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign for 2025
The CM announced the fourth consecutive year of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, which will run from August 2 to 15. This year’s theme will integrate patriotism, cleanliness, and swadeshi. Activities will include cultural events, exhibitions, and competitions on making the national flag.Statewide Participation
From August 2 to 12, programmes on the national flag will be held across the state. From August 13 to 15, flags will be hoisted on homes, offices, and vehicles. Under ‘Operation Sindoor,’ rakhis will be sent to armed forces personnel. Schools will organise events, and the state aims to distribute one crore flags.
