Kerala marked a major milestone in its tech journey with the inauguration of the Lulu IT Twin Towers in Kochi. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan officially launched the ₹1,500 crore project, calling it a game-changer for the state’s IT development. He praised Lulu Group Chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali for choosing to invest in Kerala and said the project will help attract more global tech companies to the region.

Lulu’s Expanding Investments in Kerala
In addition to the Twin Towers, Lulu Group plans to invest another ₹500 crore in a food processing and export hub in Kalamassery. The Chief Minister highlighted Yusuff Ali’s role as a key contributor to Kerala’s growth and expressed hope that such investments will create more opportunities for skilled youth within the state.
Creating 30,000 IT Jobs in Kochi
The Twin Towers are expected to generate 30,000 jobs in Kochi alone. Yusuff Ali noted that this project was launched to offer world-class opportunities for talented youth in Kerala who otherwise look outside the state for employment. Over the next three years, Lulu aims to create jobs for 50,000 IT professionals through its various IT parks. Currently, 13,800 people are employed across Lulu’s two Cyber Towers in Infopark.
Iconic Twin Towers with Global Standards
The Lulu IT Twin Towers rise 152 meters high with 30 floors each, spread over 12.74 acres. Built over 3.5 million square feet, 2.5 million square feet is dedicated to IT office space. The towers are equipped with cutting-edge features, including the world’s largest automated robotic parking system.
World-Class Amenities for a Future-Ready Campus
The infrastructure includes parking for 4,500 vehicles (3,200 robotic and 1,300 conventional), a rooftop helipad, 67 high-speed lifts, 12 escalators, a food court seating 2,500 people, and a conference hall for 600. Other facilities include electric vehicle charging points, data centers, banking, stores, gym, outdoor garden, crèche, open seating, rainwater harvesting, and waste treatment plants.

The towers are LEED Platinum pre-certified for their eco-friendly and energy-efficient design. With 100% power backup and green building standards, Lulu Twin Towers represent a modern, sustainable workplace model.
Setting a Benchmark in South India
With the Twin Towers operational, Lulu Group has become Kochi’s largest IT infrastructure provider. This project is now considered South India’s most iconic IT infrastructure development, setting a new benchmark in scale, vision, and execution.
