TVS Motor Company has introduced the Armado 200, a new cargo three-wheeler designed for Indonesia’s growing commercial transport and logistics sector.

Engine and Load Capacity
The Armado 200 is powered by a 197.75 cc oil-cooled spark-ignition engine, built for long operating hours and heavy-duty usage. It comes with a 2-metre cargo bed and can carry up to 840 kg, making it one of the highest payload vehicles in its segment.
Pricing and Market Launch
The vehicle is available in Blue, Red, and White. It is priced at IDR 35.9 million, with an introductory offer of IDR 34.9 million (OTR Jakarta). TVS is also offering flexible financing options to attract commercial buyers across different business segments.
Local Manufacturing and Strategy
According to TVS Motor, the Armado 200 is locally designed and assembled at its Karawang plant in Indonesia. The company says this reflects its focus on local engineering and long-term investment in the market.
TVS believes the cargo three-wheeler segment has strong growth potential in Indonesia and sees opportunities for expansion into export markets as well.
Features and Comfort
The vehicle includes leaf-spring suspension with dampers, an ergonomic seat with a padded backrest, and a USB charging port for drivers. TVS is also offering a warranty of three years or 30,000 km.
Role in Development Goals
The company said the Armado 200 will support Indonesia’s rural and suburban logistics needs, including government-linked initiatives aimed at improving productivity through cooperative networks.
