Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TRV), operated by TRV (Kerala) International Airport Limited, has announced its Summer Schedule 2026, which will run from March 29 to October 25, 2026. The new schedule reflects a 10 percent rise in international weekly flight operations compared to the previous winter schedule.
Increase in Flight Operations
Under the updated plan, the airport will handle a total of 634 weekly Air Traffic Movements (ATMs). International operations will grow from 310 to 340 weekly ATMs, highlighting increased airline interest and improved global connectivity.

New Routes and Better Connectivity
The airport has introduced new domestic destinations, including Navi Mumbai and Guwahati. At the same time, connectivity has been strengthened to key cities such as Chennai, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, and Kuwait.
International Operations Breakdown
The 340 weekly international ATMs include major routes such as Abu Dhabi (74), Sharjah (56), Dubai (32), Kuala Lumpur (28), Muscat (26), Kuwait (26), Male (24), Doha (20), Bahrain (14), Singapore (14), Dammam (14), Colombo (8), and Hanimaadhoo (4).
Domestic Operations Overview
Domestic weekly ATMs will total 294, with Bengaluru (84), Delhi (56), Chennai (42), and Mumbai (42) leading the list. Other routes include Hyderabad (28), Kochi (14), Navi Mumbai (14), Kannur (8), Mangalore (4), and Guwahati (2).
Growing Role as a Regional Gateway
A TIAL spokesperson stated that the new schedule highlights the airport’s rising role as a key gateway to Kerala. With expanded routes and improved connectivity, the airport aims to boost regional mobility and support economic growth.
