JSW Motors Limited has partnered with French technology company Dassault Systèmes to implement a digital platform aimed at accelerating the design, engineering, and production of its upcoming new energy vehicles, supporting the group’s broader multi-billion-dollar automotive expansion. The collaboration will see JSW Motors adopt Dassault’s 3DExperience platform as its central digital framework, linking product design, engineering, and manufacturing to enable real-time data sharing and faster development cycles.

The platform will support a modular vehicle architecture, allowing multiple models to share components, reducing costs and shortening time to market. Key tools such as Catia for 3D design and Enovia for product data management and team collaboration will underpin the system. JSW Motors will also use Dassault’s Delmia solutions to monitor and optimize factory operations, improving efficiency, minimizing waste, and lowering carbon emissions.
The partnership will further leverage virtual twins—digital replicas of vehicles and manufacturing processes—to simulate and test designs before physical production. This initiative complements JSW Group’s dual automotive strategy: expanding capacity and launching electric vehicles under its joint venture JSW MG Motor India, while developing JSW Motors as a fully independent brand. JSW Motors has also signed a technology licensing deal with Chery Holding Group of China to access advanced vehicle platforms, with its first plug-in hybrid SUV expected to launch around Diwali 2026.
