Exicom Tele-Systems has inaugurated a large integrated manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, aimed at scaling up production of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and critical power solutions.
The new facility will manufacture EV chargers, lithium-ion battery systems, and power solutions, strengthening the company’s role in India’s fast-growing electric mobility sector.

This plant is part of Exicom’s broader expansion strategy and is expected to significantly increase production capacity, with earlier estimates suggesting up to a threefold boost in output for chargers and battery packs.
The facility also reflects India’s push toward local manufacturing of EV infrastructure, reducing dependence on imports and supporting domestic innovation in power electronics and charging technology.
With EV adoption accelerating across the country, the new Hyderabad plant is expected to play a key role in meeting rising demand for reliable, scalable charging infrastructure, both in India and for export markets.
